Common Thresher Shark
Thresher sharks are pretty awesome. There are three species, but the common thresher shark is by far the largest of them, weighing in at up to 1100 lbs (~500 kg), and sometimes getting up to 20 feet (6.1 m) long.
That long tail of theirs is used to swat things! It stuns schooling fish that it follows into the shallows, so that they’re easier to catch. They also swat at enemies or annoyances, and have even swatted at many divers who hang in their area for too long!
These sharks are the only type of shark that breech in a way like dolphins do. They jump high out of the water, and sometimes even catch sea birds during their jumps.

A Little Bit On The “More Machine Than Man” Side: BossLogic (the same dude behind Street Fighter x Tron and the Hyper Real series) teamed up with Reza Ilysa to turn Street Fighter characters into iron-fisted mechs. Mecha Street Fighter II: Turbo Edition has a pretty nice ring to it. Get on that, Capcom.
